Pritam & Pedro marks the OTT debut of acclaimed filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani as a creator, and it’s already winning hearts across the country.
This six-episode cybercrime comedy-thriller follows an unlikely partnership between Pritam, a young hacker searching for his grandfather’s stolen tape recorder, and Pedro, an old-school cop trying to revive his career after a demotion to the Cyber Cell. Their investigation soon pulls them into a world of scams, kidnappings, and digital deception.
The series blends humour, suspense, and emotion with ease, making it an effortless binge. Rather than relying on technical jargon, it keeps the focus on its engaging mystery and the evolving bond between two complete opposites.
Arshad Warsi is in terrific form, bringing humour, warmth, and vulnerability to Pedro. Making his acting debut, Vir Hirani delivers a confident and understated performance, matching Warsi with quiet sincerity. Vikrant Massey delivers yet another stellar performance, while Mona Singh shines in an emotionally resonant role. And the beautiful finale, elevated by Shreya Ghoshal’s soulful rendition of Maafi, stays with you long after the credits roll.

Director Avinash Arun keeps the storytelling moving at a steady pace. He allows the mystery to unfold naturally while giving its characters room to breathe.
