Amol Parashar anchors the season with a restrained and mature performance. Dr. Prabhat no longer reacts impulsively and instead approaches situations with patience and thought.
His relationship with Dr. Gargi (Akansha Ranjan Kapoor) develops naturally through shared responsibilities, small disagreements, and growing understanding, bringing a warm Sachiv Ji-Rinki kind of charm to Bhatkandi.
Akash Makhija as Gobind keeps the humour grounded, while Anandeshwar Dwivedi and the supporting cast give the PHC its lived-in rhythm.
Season 2’s biggest highlight comes through its unexpected Panchayat crossover. The entry of Banrakas and Binod lands like a surprise no one saw coming, yet instantly became one of the most talked-about moments, almost like Prime Minister Narendra Modi unexpectedly meeting the Panchayat team. Their presence brings effortless comedy and a burst of energy that feels like a fan celebration in itself, without ever disturbing the flow of the main story.
The season also benefits from the presence of Dinesh Lal Yadav “Nirahua”. As a Bhojpuri superstar and political figure, he brings a familiarity that blends naturally into Bhatkandi, reflecting how cinema, politics, and village life often intersect in rural North India.
Should You Watch Gram Chikitsalay Season 2?
Yes, Season 2 is a clear upgrade with tighter writing, stronger performances, and more emotional depth in the PHC setup. The Prabhat – Gargi track feels natural, the humour stays grounded, and the Panchayat crossover of Banrakas-Binod is cherry on the cake and stands out as the biggest highlight. While a few side arcs feel undercooked, the season overall is more focused, warmer, and more engaging than before.
