Criminal Justice Season 2 Review – An Intriguing Suspense Thriller

Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors, season 2 of the legal drama released on the 24th of December. Starring Kirti Kulhari, Pankaj Tripathi, Jisshu Sengupta, Adrija Sinha, Anupriya Goenka, Mita Vashisht, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Deepti Naval. The eight-episode series is very engaging and takes us deeper into the Indian justice system.

Season 2 is much more than just a thriller show, it is also about the relationship between a family. The plot starts when Anuradha Chandra (Kirti Kulhari) stabs her husband Bikram Chandra (Jisshu Sengupta), who happens to be a very reputed lawyer. Their 12-year daughter Rhea (Adrija Sinha) becomes the witness of the event.

When no Lawyer was ready to fight the case from Anuradha’s end. Madhav Mishra (Pankaj Tripathi) steps in to find out the reasons behind the stabbing and the real mystery behind the marital relationship of Anuradha & Bikram.

Anupriya Goenka plays the role of Nikhat Hussain who is unemployed and also struggling with family issues. Hussain joins Madhav Mishra in the case as a defense counsel, which was assumed to be a clear open and shut case for the prosecution, media, and police.

Anuradha Chandra was pregnant and emotionally fragile, surviving in the prison was becoming an even worst situation for her. The investigation, the charge-sheet, and the sessions court trial stretch over ten months. The series is very engaging and has a lot of social aspects attached to it.

If we talk about the direction and writing, the series is perfect and very intriguing. The actors, no doubt have performed brilliantly. We get to see most of the actors from season 1 and also there are some new additions.
Pankaj Tripathi is the one who wins our hearts with his natural acting and sense of humor.

Moreover, we get to see Madhav Mishra getting married to Ratna (Khusboo Atre). The duo drives through a bitter-sweet relationship throughout the series.

Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors is perfect for binge-watching and a very engaging thriller mystery.
