Selection Day Review : STORY OF EVERY YOUNG INDIAN CRICKETER!

Selection Day is a web series every cricket fan is waiting to watch and being streamed on Netflix the expectations are already high!

Selection Day is a Day on which 3 Players from India will be shortlisted and will get a chance to play for India.

Selection Day is a Story of two Brothers from a small village in Madhya Pradesh and their ambitious father who wants his both son’s to become the Number1 and Number2 batsmen of the world.

So, to chase this dream his father comes to “Mumbai: The City of Dreams ” with his sons and takes them to 70 Top Clubs of Mumbai, but every club rejects them as they don’t have money.

Finally, after facing so many rejections his father finally takes them to Shivaji Park, Dadar where many of the World’s Best Batsmen’s journey started such as Sachin Tendulkar, Gavaskar.

There they meet a retired cricket coach and drawing teacher Tommy Sir (Mahesh Manjrekar). When Tommy Sir watches the two of them play, he asks his father whether he could coach both of his son’s for free and make his (Tommy Sir’s) dream come true of training someone like Tendulkar or Gavaskar once in a lifetime and make our country India Proud!

So, Just like this an amazing story of struggle, passion, hard work and dedication starts and unfolds the mystery whether they Get selected to play for India on the Selection Day.

Season2 is awaited as the Journey has just begun and more is to be uncovered!

All the characters in the web series are amazing and have done justice to their roles.

Mahesh Manjrekar, the Marathi Big Boss/Bollywood Star as Tommy Sir has done a phenomenal job and has done full justice to the character.

Rajesh Tailang as Father has fully accepted the role of a Mad Ambitious father who can do anything for cricket.

The two new faces Yash Dholye(Radha) and Mohammad Samad (Manju) are exceptional and their performance will win your hearts.
